Guernica, Picasso 1937

After German and Italian forces’ bombardment of the Basque city of Guernica in 1937, Picasso created his famous masterpiece. In our fast changing world where ubiquitous multi-channel communication still can’t prevent a disruption of a peaceful discourse, where violence is an extension of argument, be it January 6th riots in the USA, a Russian invasion of Ukraine, or a collapse of a personal communication, such disruption leads to transformation on both personal and social levels, or does it? What happens to us as people? Artists? Does it lead to reassessing our value system? How do we cope?

Submitting to this artist call is FREE and there is no limit to the quantity of the work to be submitted.

Video work up to 5 minutes in length is accepted.
